Exodus 34: 22-23
Jesus tells his disciples 40 days before his ascension to go to Jerusalem and wait for the Holy Spirit they gathered there 10 days after his ascension which equals 50 days which is where Pentecost comes from.
The day of Pentecost changed people , one example is seen in Peter.

Peter went from frightened to fearless .
Peter went from cowardly to courageous.
Peter went from denying Jesus to defending Jesus.
Peter had not changed his mind , the Holy Spirit had changed Peter.
Genesis 2:7
God created Adam but Adam only came to life when God breathed into Adam.
Ezekiel 37 : 1-10
Ezekiel spoke to the bones and they came together but they did not move until the Spirit of God blew over then.
It is your choice to do what you will with the gift of the Holy Spirit coming into your life.
